What Kind Of Attorney Should I Be Seeking Out?

Hi all,

My maternal grandfather has very recently passed. He had two daughters- my mother who has passed, and my aunt who has been managing his care. Due to the relationship between my uncle and my mother, I've never really met/spoken my aunt/uncle.

My father has suggested that my brother and I seek legal council to ensure assets are distributed approperly as we have reason to believe the other side of the family (who we dont speak to) will try to use this situation to their advantage.

What kind of attorney (estate planning, family law, etc.) should I reach out to in order to help my brother and I? Any recommended ways to find one? Any next steps would be super helpful and very appreciated.

The states of interest would be Florida and NY.
