Uncles Friend Is Putting People In His House And Collecting Rent While He’s In A Rehab Center.
My mom is the power of attorney for my uncle. He has dementia and other problems which landed him in the hospital for a long time. He’s currently at a rehab center and had been there for months. He owns a few homes in Philadelphia. While he was home my mom was looking for people to take care of him because she lives in a different state this guy stepped up and said he’s a long time friend. At first he was helping with rides to the doctor, feeding, and caring for my uncle.
My mom thought she could trust him. She him keys to the house and made him a overseer of the properties. Now that my uncles gone he moved people in and started collecting rent. He’s not paying bills or helping my uncle with medical bills. He doesn’t answer the phone.
