Threatened With Nda For Discussing Wages With Coworker

Boss was upset with me for discussing wage with coworkers. One coworker was being paid less than they should have so I told them what I was making. Boss took that as a personal attack and now wants me to sign an NDA stating that I won’t discuss salary, wages or compensation of any kind with anyone else including other employees. I contacted the labor board who told me I was protected under their act. I haven’t signed the NDA but my review is coming up soon and I’m worried that they will use this NDA against me if I don’t sign. I know this NDA is illegal and not enforceable but it has now impacted my potential future with this company. What can I do to protect myself?
