Tattoo Artist Keeps Cancelling Refuses To Give Back Deposit.

My wife has been trying to get a tattoo from this lady since August of last year. I would say she has cancelled on her 4 to 6 times now and just did again. I asked for my money back sometime ago but she refused and rescheduled the appointment to which she conveniently cancelled an hour before she was supposed to go again. Now she saying she is sick and will try to fit her in tomorrow but I doubt it’s going to happen.

I gave this stupid lady $150 in August as a deposit and she has been giving us the run around ever since. Now I want my money back… what can I do… a non refundable down payment can’t possibly hold legal bearing if she keeps cancelling the service. It is so obvious that she is lying, and my poor sweet wife keeps wanting to give her more chances.
