Hijab As An Immigration Officer

Hello, I was offered a position without an interview as an immigration officer here in the United States. They don’t know that I wear a scarf, nor that I’m Muslim. I know that nobody can forwardly discriminate you, however I don’t want this to be a major problem for them; and me; and therefore have wasted my time. I don’t want them to think that I would be bias in my job role…

What are your thoughts on this? Have you noticed people in the government clearly displaying their religious beliefs and has it impacted them? I’m not willing to remove my hijab. I do it for the sake of my belief system. American Muslim convert to Islam btw.
