Stopped Going To Parole Officer At 18 Now 36

I was 17 when I was arrested for a quarter bag of weed in tennessee. After a couple months I turned 18 and finished all the payments and was still working on my community service. I eventually just stopped going to my monthly PO appointments but never received a call. Years later I was pulled over but there was no warrant and nothing was said about me skipping out on my parole officer. It's something I still think about and get worried whenever I have an interaction with a cop. I've been living a clean life and never break the law. I had seen on the news around 10 years ago about the DCS offices losing tons of files and they were under investigation. Is there a statue of limitations on these sorts of things? Did I just get lucky and may have been one of the files to go missing?
