Stepmom Is Trying To Get Food Stamps Through Me

Firstly sorry if this is all over the place I have alot going on.

So I F22 have not lived with my father M45 since 2016 and that was back and forth from my mother's home due to custody arrangements.

I am currently living for my boyfriend M24 and have claimed on our taxes as so, I have lived with him since 2021.

About 2 days ago my father and step mom F42 came to get me from my grandmother's house who was very sick at the time and now has passed (she lived in a different state)

Whilst driving back to the state I live and they live my step mom tells me that she has put me down as living with them and is trying to get food stamps through me. She also said she will give me half of the food stamps since it's through me.

This was the first time of me hearing this and no she didn't ask my permission. She went and got my information off of my dad's copy of the divorce papers and did this.

I told her that I live with my boyfriend who had claimed me as a dependent on his taxes and that it would get denied (I'm currently unemployed). She said that his taxes don't matter.

I wasn't really thinking at the time dealing with my grandmother being sick and all the emotions so I really didn't start thinking about it until now. And I am very much not okay with her doing this nor do I like that she has access to my information.

And before anyone says anything no she doesn't need food stamps. She has a stable income and she also spends money like crazy. She orders stuff online daily and gets her nails done every two weeks. She is not in any kind of money trouble unless she put herself there with the spending she does.

I'm really just wondering what do I do. Can I get in trouble? Obviously if anyone calls me I will tell them the truth. I just don't really know where to go from here.

I have had issues with her and my father in the past so I'm really scared to talk to them and tell them no without them blowing everything up in my face which I cannot handle right now. What do I do?

I want to talk to my father about it if anything, but he's spineless when it comes to her and I say she's my step mom because they've been together forever. They are not married.

Any advice would be appreciated.
