Sister In Law/husband Took Out My Ignition And Broke My Hood Latch/took The Battery.

I was dropping my husband off at his sister's on the reservation she lived on. We were separating and I worked down on Edina in Minnesota so I was going to drive back so I could keep my job. My father gave me the car and put a lien on it so we wouldn't sell it for some quick cash. It was an old 2003 Honda Accord that wasn't worth much but drove great. It has over 300,000+ miles on it. He refused to get out and threatened to call police and have his siblings roll up to "handle me". Long story short I ran from the reservation and left the car with him in it. I had both the keys. He started kicking me in the head. He was sitting on the back seat. After Hitch hiking back to the city I contacted my family to help me. Later on we tried to go get the car but they had moved it into her garage. He wasn't going to help me, nor was his evil sister. We called the tribal police and they called housing and got into the garage. They took off my plates which the housing people found on top of her fridge. They ripped out my starter and ignition. The part where you put the key was laying on the floor inside the car. The cop spoke with the sister on the phone and she wasn't being cooperative. After we got in she called back and said the car was damaged and the owner being my husband told her to move it into the garage. Inside the garage they left the tool box open with the tools in front of the car. The police saw everything. Once we got it towed out of there I asked to police how I can press charges. They told me to get an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it. Does anyone know what I could do or how I could go about pressing charges on these people. I lost my job because he kept the car from me and now he's destroyed the ignition.
