Service Center Crashed My New Car

Card image cap

I brought my new car in for its routine 5k mile checkup and oil change and they accidentally crashed it while pulling into the washing area. Side mirror destroyed, deep scratches front to back and a massive dent - the car is in rough shape. They avoided calling insurance and kept the car for 50+ days while waiting for factory parts. I’ve been the ideal customer the whole time - friendly and respectful that accidents happen….

This car is my (28m) biggest purchase ever and I pay 834$ a month to drive it. They gave me a cheap loaner and asked I return it with the tank full.

I got a text today saying the car is ready for pickup - how should I approach this if I’m worried the car’s value is depreciated + I paid nearly two month’s worth of payments to not drive it. I don’t want to get screwed by their mistake! Advice?
