Roommates/landlord Daughter Unplugged Our Security Camera In Our Bedroom When We Are Away On Trip

So I f(19) am moving out of this property june 1st, I however had to leave may 9th for a surgery back home which I will be gone from the house till june 1st aka move out day. My one roommate f(20) and I both left the 9th due to us having a screaming match with our other roommate (f20) and her gf (the landlord daughter)(f20) due to circumstances that built up over the months previous. So when We left for my surgery we did not feel safe leaving our stuff there for the month, so my roommate and I who are leaving put all our stuff into my bedroom into the middle of the room and bought two indoor security cameras for the room. Today however we get a motion notification, the other roommate and her gf came into our room looked at all our stuff and unplugged and turned away one of our cameras. However they did not see the other one in the room so we still have this one. The daughter of the landlord proclaims herself the property manager even though in the lease their is no statement of her having any position of power or their being a property manager. Is it legal for them to enter our bedroom when we aren’t there and touch our stuff and turn off our security camera?
