Roommate’s Menacing Dog

My roommate and I both signed a lease together but they did not tell me they had a dog. The dog is a registered ESA and she has a note from her psychiatrist. However, the dog is aggressive to strangers and other animals, has chewed/scratched door frames in the rental home, and is not house broken. I’ve already accepted that I can kiss our deposit goodbye, but this dog is still making my life miserable. Not to mention we live in a busy residential area and I fear that it will bite a neighbor or a visitor on top of causing more headache and property damage. Is there anything I can do to get this dog OUT? Bonus points if there’s a way I can do it without causing discord between my roommate and I. -Missouri, USA
