Hi, I am looking for some advice on a piece of property that has my name on it but the property my mom lives on in a trailer. My sister moved in with her and she wants to build a house on it but only way for her to build a house on it if my name is removed. I tried to get her to buy me out and my little sister but she says she has no money to do so. My mom said if I remove my name and put her name on it so she can’t sell it out from us; she said if something happens to her it’ll go back in my name. The thing is. She is going to live there forever and in my opinion it’s not fair for myself and my sister for her to get property for free when it’s an inheritance for us when our mom is gone. But she doesn’t see it that way either. Another thing is if my moms name is on the property and she builds a house on the property and her name and her husband name is on the house can her husband take the property if something happens to her? The property is in florida. Are there other ways they can they incorporate buying us out into the building loan?
