Is An Injury Covered Under For Voluntary Exercise If It Occurs In The Workplace?

So the short of it is, we’re an Emergency Medical Services organization. Someone offered to donate a brand new treadmill. I am one of the supervisors and naturally think worst case scenario. The treadmill would be within the building.
I love the idea people can walk or run when we have downtime but does this fall under workers comp if someone were to get injured?
People right now walk within some small parks during their shift with the truck nearby if there’s downtime. We do not require employees to workout as part of their job duties however there are ‘fitness’ requirements they need to be at when they are hired such as being able to lift x amount of pounds (since we lift and move people all day) but we never re test on those things unless an issue arose where they were found to be incapable.
