Possibly Fired Without Being Told?

Card image cap

I was suspended from work this week. Someone had vindictively made me do some of their job when I was overloaded and I yelled at them to come back and do their job. Well, according to the website we use for timesheets and vacation requests, I was still on the schedule to work despite being suspended. The policy at work is 2 no-call, no-shows, your job is gone... presumably assuming that you quit. I had no idea that I was still showing as scheduled to work and if it wasn't just an oversight leaving me on there, they essentially fired me without saying so. Hopefully I hear something tomorrow that it was an oversight but if not, what kind of recourse might I have? When you just quit a job, unemployment benefits are gone but if they were deceptive, wouldn't that be illegal or something?
