I’m selling my house, the buyers had a home inspection done on Monday. Late Friday night we get a list of requested repairs and excerpts from the inspection. One item listed as safety said “there was a faint gas odor coming from the attic area around the furnace and water heater during the time of the inspection. This likely indicates that there may be a gas leak from the gas supply line, fittings, and/or furnace/water heater.”

Is it not reasonable to think he should have immediately passed this information to the people living in the house? (Me)

The gas company came out and did determine there was a small leak in the furnace.
