Car Accident Bills Came After Settlement
I want to keep this short. I was in a car accident a little less than a year ago. I went to a chiropractor and a pain doctor and they found I had 7 herniated disc in my back and neck after the accident. I went like 6 times to have them work on my back and they did two epidural shots. When it was time to settle the case we requested all the bills and they came out to roughly 18k so we settled for just enough money to cover the medical bills and for me to have a little extra on top nothing crazy. We signed all the papers for the settlement and are getting ready to pay the medical bills and the doctor who did my shots threw a brand new bill on top of everything from the facility and it’s an addition 20k. We requested all the bills months ago and this one just came in out of no where now that we have already settled everything. Is there anything I can do?
