My Sister Was Jumped After She Hit A Car At Work

Card image cap

My sister just started a new job. She was backing into a parking spot and thought she had more room, she scraped a car that was parked in front of the spots. The lady gets out screaming at her. A coworker that she had not met comes running out and screaming at her, she gets out and the coworker starts attacking her. Turns out driver and coworker are related. Coworker grabs my sisters hair while driver starts slapping/punching my sister in the face. My sister then starts punching back and trying to get away, all three begin to tussle and the coworker is punching and the driver is tearing at my sister’s shirt, they shredded it and ripped it off her body. Driver is scratching my sister’s breasts, coworker starts literally BITING my sister while she rips my sister’s hair out of her head. Sister breaks away and driver and coworker are taunting her, calling her all sorts of names so my sister starts punching again, she’d literally been beat up at this point. Manager comes out and breaks it up, starts screaming at my sister that how dare she do this, etc. The two take off in a car. We realize car keys have been pulled out of ignition and are gone, nowhere to be found. Manager is still chewing her out. Cops don’t really care, tell her to go to magistrate. All we get to file for is simple assault, barely a $500 fine. We are waiting on video to be viewed by police, which would tell us which one stole the keys but even then the cops and magistrate said we still have to come back and file another charge… which is even if we are allowed to see the video which is highly doubtful. Is there anything else we can do? My sister just turned 18, this has been extremely traumatic.
