My Parents Are Refusing To Grant Me Property Left By My Grandparents And Refuses To Let Me View Their Will
I need advice on how to obtain a property that my grandfather left to me in his will.
Before my grandparents passed away they continually told me that my brother and I would get one property that they owned in Houston Texas. It has now been a couple years since they have passed and my parents talk about the property being in my name and the rent they are getting from the man living there, but I never see this money. My parents refuse to let me see my grandfathers will and try and say I’m conspiring against them. They are constantly holding money over my head and using it to try and control me. Everytime I ask for information on the property or the rent they brush me off and tell me they are getting to it. I want to sell the property and use the funds to pay for my living expenses and college.
I live in Louisiana with them and would like to gain the information about the property so I can sell it. What actions do I need to take and/ or who do I need to talk to?
