My Cat Was Almost Hanged At A Grooming Shop, And I Left A Bad Yelp Review, But The Owner Threatened To Sue Me.

Hi everyone, I live in california. Last week I took my cat to a grooming shop for cleaning, during the process of washing the cat, the groomer refused to let us accompany with the pet. The groomer wasn't watching my cat carefully, my cat jumped out of the tub and the rope wrapped around his neck, hanging him for about five seconds, my cat choking and struggling. I was hesitant, I thought the groomer was going to pick the cat up, but she just moved the tub away so I could reach over and pick the cat up. My cat was immediately incontinent, her pupils dilated and she couldn't stop shaking. My girlfriend and I were too panicked to call the police right away because my cat was covered in water and at that time I just hope my cat didn't die. When we got home, we wrote a bad yelp review, but the owner was rude and completely distorted the truth. The owner has asked us to watch the surveillance video together next Monday, and I think the owner is already threatening to Sue us.
