Mom Forged My Name
My dad died in an accident in 1988. My mother received a settlement plus $10,000 for each child when they turned 18. Since I was of age, she said I would not receive any money.
Well, she finally admitted, from her deathbed, that $10000 was awarded to me and that she forged my name so she could keep the money.
Is it too late to do anything about it?
12:27pm Yeah, she actually never told us about the money but when my siblings turned 18 she just told them, hey I had to put this money under your name but it’s mine and sign here.
We were neglected, poor, and unprepared for adult responsibilities I keep thinking, life would have been so much easier for each of us if we just had a used car and insurance. Who does that to their kids
