Legal Address For An Llc? [ca]
I need to locate the owner of an LLC. They recently left their office and in email corresponde they just list a P.O. Box. Their "business address" in their paper correspondence is the Pacific Palisades Post Office and the "suite" number is the same P.O. Box.
I've looked for the business in the CA department of State database. The registered agent for service of process is the owner's real name, afaik, but the address is still the Pacific Palisades Post Office.
My understanding is that this is illegal in California, since an LLC requires a registered agent and a real physical address where the LLC business is conducted. Is there a place I can inquire about the real address, or, if illegal, to report it?
