Am I Legally Allowed To Break Into My Ex Girlfriends House To Get My Stuff
I (18M) went to stay with my girlfriend (18F) for a few days since my parents were having guests over and I wasn’t allowed to sleep anywhere but my couch.
So during the time I was staying I got into an argument with my girlfriend since she was flirting with other boys at school when I told her repeatedly it made me uncomfortable and she got angry for assuming I was cheating on her and broke up with me and kicked me out of the house forcing me to go back home, I realized I left a ton of my stuff over since I was staying there including my backpack and suitcase and clothes including an expensive jacket and my iPhone and iPad and laptop plus some toys (yes I know I’m an adult now but I still love toys plus I’m still in high school) and so the next day I went over to her house to get my stuff back and when I knocked on the door she asked what I was doing here and she literally had another guy right next to her that was kissing her so that means either she was cheating on me or she magically got another boyfriend a day after we broke up but I just ignored it and asked her if I could get my stuff back and she said no and I told her it’s my stuff and she can’t just keep it and she said it’s her house and she doesn’t have to let me in and then I said ok give me my stuff and she said no get lost and started yelling at me and called me a piece of shit and slammed the door and blocked me as well. I decided to stay home today from school and went by her house this morning and her mom doesn’t work so she’s always home and I figured she’d let me get my stuff but she also told me no and threatened to call the police if I didn’t get off her property and also told me to stay away from her daughter at school, I told her I’m entitled to having my own stuff back and if she doesn’t give it to me I’ll take it back myself and she told me to get the fuck away from the door and go home and I did go back home but I’m not just letting them keep my stuff I don’t even have my phone so I had to type this on my pc and I want to know if I’ll get in trouble if I break my girlfriends room window to get inside the house to get my stuff.
