Is It Worth It To Bring My Place Of Employment To Court?

I worked for an apartment complex under a very large national company for about a year and a half, maybe a little more. From the very beginning, I had faced some pretty harsh and obvious harassment from my manager that my coworkers (the ones she hadn’t recruited against me) and even the other managers above her recognized. It got really bad, so bad in fact that now, almost a year later, I’m still majorly affected by it. I just had a discussion with my psychiatrist a little bit ago about it and she helped me realize that my boss had significantly contributed to a relapse in my diagnosed anxiety disorder and caused me to develop nervous habits and ticks. I’m not exaggerating when I say that, had I not had a support system, this lady would have ruined me mentally. I tried to get HR involved towards the end of my time there but they didn’t seem to care. In fact, the first time I emailed them, I was given an email that no longer worked. We eventually got a call scheduled but it was during my working hours and we were too busy for me to step away that day because so many residents were in the office needing assistance. When I tried contacting them after that, they refused to give me the time of day because it “obviously wasn’t that important to me.” My immediate managers (above her) knew about it and constantly said they would talk to her and fix it but never did. It’s currently May 1st, 2024 and my last day with the company (after being let off due to management changes, we literally all lost our jobs) was around late July, 2023. Is it too late to bring them to court over my significantly worsened anxiety disorder due to their negligence? Could I even? Is it even worth the money and effort?
