I Have A Barnacle In My House. How Do I Get Rid Of Him?
Location: Minnesota I have a unwanted roommate. I rented a house with my girlfriend about a year ago and she moved out a few months ago. I needed to make ends meet so I found a roommate. I knew he had a eviction so I just didn't say anything to the landlord and let him take a room. It was going fine for the first month and a half before he started making a big fuss out of little things that to me seemed ridiculous. It was then that I realized he has a motive to not get along with me. It was like pulling teeth trying to get rent out of him when I knew he had it.. now he hasn't paid rent the last month and says he's not leaving because he is going to stay for the 600 security deposit which will equal his last months rents. He told me if I want him out to call the cops and that he has rights too. I come to find out he has done this at his last few places. To top it off I'm pretty sure he is doing drugs in my house. I don't know what to do at this point. He refuses to even talk to me just goes in his room and shuts his door. He has accused me of changing the locks acting all crazy which I didn't. He has accused me of digging through his room which I haven't. How do I get him out?!!
