I got served some papers that a lawyer I hired in 2022-2024 to get custody of my son. They are suing me for an unpaid balance of 1600. I fired them due to not making any progression to finalize the Order. They wanted to redo a temporary order since they forgot to ask for the reimbursement of the child support on the first temporary order. In the end me and my son decided to come to an agreement and get it finalize bit They blamed it on her for not reaching out or answering the phone. She called and was asked to email them. She did and nothing was done. I was giving a discount of 3k but in the end I ended up paying that for nothing. I've reached out to a couple of lawyer to fight back but nobody has reached out. Should I just file for grievance at this point since the deadline was Monday?
