Got Caught Stealing From Work, Over A Period Of Several Months

Card image cap

What it says in the title. Times were desperate and I (22M) was in a lot of debt at the time, so I made stupid decisions while shopping after work at Walmart. I would skip scan items, mostly food and toiletries, and I don't think it ever totaled more than a couple hundred dollars. I got called into the office yesterday, and they sat me down and told me that they knew what I had been doing, and why, and they just needed me to honest as to what I had done. They had me fill out a statement (which was stupid of me to do I'm sure ), and then told me they would file a police report, since it was over $25 dollars, and i could expect to see something in the mail about it. Then I turned in my work stuff and left. I live in Kentucky, and I have never been in any legal trouble, so I just don't know what to expect. Any help would be awesome.
