Going To Court Next Week For Debt Collections. I Am Going To Challenge . What Questions Do I Ask?
I received a civil notice hearing about 2 months ago. I never responded. I showed up to court and I thought I was going to win because the lawyer representing the bank did not show up. So the judge dismissed and now I have a date in court next week.
It's for about 6500. Fuck it I'm just going to challenge it. It's from a 3rd party creditor and I only have disability so they really can't do anything right?
So, what questions do I ask the banks attorney? If I lose and there is a judgement how long do I have to pay?
Anyone ever been through this?
