Do I Have To Share My Money With Ny Spouse If I Get Divorced?
Location: Pennsylvania. I got married in PA ten years ago. Back then my husband was a normal person. About three years ago, he got very lazy and decided to not work anymore. We couldnt afford our bills and rent, so we lost our apartment and had to move in with his parents. You think that would make him work.. nope! He would spleep all day and play games all night. He doesn't play as much anymore but still doesnt work and don't show much interest in doing that either. I tried helping him but he lies about sending resumes. He got a job but quit within two weeks. He said he'd prefer to help clean our place... It was the easiest job ever at a local retail store. In the meantime, I was got rid of most our bills, having only rent, which was cheap, and groceries. With that I was able to save about 10k. Now I want to go to college to have a better life but I need his support, bringing income so I can study. I cant survive with a part time job. I dont think he will help me out so I'll have to leave him. But I worked hard to save this money, its all I have. We dont have cars or anything expensive. Every cent of my savings account came from my hard work and I dont think its fair to share with him. I can prove it all came from me through bank statements and tax return.
