Car Dealership Is Asking For The Car Back

So i recently purchased a car, when i was signing the contract i seen they had added the warranty i asked them to take off along with the gap coverage because i can get that through car insurance, they told me that was the only way the finance company would finance the car so i signed, well the finance company called and asked if i was told i had to get the warranty i said that's exactly what i was told they told me to call the dealership and ask them to remove it, i called the dealership and the finance manager said they didn't say that, and they couldn't redo the contract or else it would make have a higher payment. so i called the finance company back and they told me just to cancel when i got their welcome packet. i said okay and left it at that. Now, the dealership has sent a letter asking for me to return the car, are they allowed to do that?
