Can I Be Sued For Vomiting On Someone By Accident?

I have motion sickness. I’ve always had it as a kid. No matter what vehicle it is, if I am not driving or in control I will start to feel sick. I always take medicine before any long travels or a gummy to help relax my nerves.

Today I took a 6 hour flight to go visit family in another state. My seat for some reason was slightly recline back. I tried to fix the chair to straighten it but it wouldn’t budge. I had to call a flight attendant. She tried to fix it but it was stuck. She had to ask other attendants, but nothing. The staff reassured me that it’ll be fine and even if it’s stuck it shouldn’t be a bother.

Everthing was fine until more people were seated. As more passengers came in a person sat behind me. She tapped on my shoulder to recline it up but it just wouldn’t. I had to tell her I can’t move it. She got mad and said I wasn’t trying hard enough and started hitting my chair.

An attendant saw this and apologized to her that it was stuck and we would be stuck like this. She seemed okay but when we got in the air but she kept kicking my chair as the flight went on. I had to tell her to stop and she apologize but she would keep laughing to her friend beside her and kept kicking.

After 30 mins I started feeling sick. The motion from the plane and her kicks were starting to get to me. Another hour goes by and I can’t keep it in. As I stand up the plane starts to shake. I fall back on my chair facing her. She laughs and ask if I’m okay. Kicking one last time on the back of the chair hitting my stomach and it happen. I vomited all over her and her friend.

My head is pounding right after. The other ladies are screaming and the other passengers are staring and yelling as well. Flight attendants rushes over helping me and the to try to calm the ladies. I was taken to a business class bathroom and taken care of till I felt better. I stayed in a business class seat so they could help me feel less sick for the rest of the flight.

When we landed I thanked the attendants and apologize but they just reassured me to feel better. I bumped into the other ladies as I was exiting the airport. They’re changed and seem okay but the main girl started yelling at me. Security had to separate her from me, but she told she would sue me for vomiting on her. Her friend, while we were fighting, took a picture of me and the name tag on my suitcase.

I’m kinda scared if they do contact me and sue. I don’t know what to do. I’m just at my cousin’s house worried and feeling sick. How should I handle this? I don’t have any proof or anything to if she does sue.
