Can An Adult Adoptee File A Dissolution Of Adoption?
I was adopted from a Romanian orphanage in 1990 by an American couple. The adoption was a total failure and a horrific experience for me. I found out those adoptions might not even be legal and very likely legalized child trafficking. I was forced to an "adoption" as a child and now as an adult I am wondering if I can somehow have my adoption legally terminated. If marriages can be terminated, is there a way for an adult adoptee to terminate their adoption?
Also, if my adoption turns out to be legalized child trafficking and I was brought into the US under false pretenses will my citizenship be revoked and I get deported to Romania even though I was a baby? Thanks!
