Dol Overtime Requirement, 53-hour Work Week, Oregon

Can anybody provide information on this fringe case which may or may not he covered by the DoL’s new rule as described here? https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/millions-of-new-workers-eligible-for-overtime-under-dol-rule#
Myself and coworkers are currently employed based off of a 53 hour work week instead of a 40 hour. We work three 11 hour days and one 16 hour day in a typical work week (adding up to 49 hours), and once a month we work two 11s, a 16, and a 15 (53 hours). This is for a rural Fire District. If we are out on calls for service past 53 hours or are on call outside of work hours we can log the hours we were on the calls and receive Comp Time at 1.5x, which caps in an 80 hour bank, per policy. With the exception of one district employee who is employed based on a 40 hour week, we all make less than the 59k outlined in this article. Will we suddenly become overtime eligible on January 1st? Does this not apply to us because we are not 40 hour employees?
Hope this wasn’t too long winded, thank you in advance!
