Can A Landlord Prohibit You From Having A Portable Stripper Pole In Your Room? (in)

/Indiana/ My roomate finds my stripper pole in my private rented room disrespectful. The landlord wants it taken down because of my roomates complaints. I am under the impression that I can have whatever personal belongings I want in my room as long as it’s not damaging the house or disturbing my roomate. The pole is not bolted in, it’s built like a tension rod, so it’s not fixtured to the room in a way that is permanent or leaves marks. My roomate only comes home a few days every few weeks, and said it hasn’t disturbed him but it could at some point in the future which is why he wants it taken down. When I’ve practiced on it it’s not causing any ruckus and I don’t play music while practicing. I’m wondering if the landlord can suddenly state that I have to take it down or if I have some protection.
