Being Sued Tomorrow For $739

has anyone been to court with a debt collector? long story short, I have a $700 outstanding balance from 2019 when I was young and dumb with money and never paid and forgot about until I got summons in the mail. I have court tomorrow via zoom and wondering what it will look like, any tips, etc. I’ve never been to court for anything so kinda freaking out. ???? It came from a credit card company, was sent to collection agency and is now at some law firm handling it.

I’m a single mom, working part time and in school full time with about 10 months left. Do I call the law firm and try to settle today or just go to court? Any advice is appreciated!
