Bar Selling Alcohol Bought From A Store And Not A Distributer. (mo Law)

Missouri legal question -
This bar has been visited by the Missouri Alcohol and Tobacco control and they found that the owner has been buying alcohol from a grocery store rather than using a distributer.
In the visit, the bar was not shut down, no statute violation was check marked on the ticket, they advised we could remain open "in good conscious" the only thing we would need to do is remove all of the alcohol that was not obtained from a distributer from the bar.
The agents took a case of beer and a bottle of liquor that was clearly not obtained from a distributer and advised they would be back in the coming week to see if the liquor/beer was removed.
What are the legal consequences of this, for the owner and the business itself.
Any advice is greatly apprecaited.
