Am I Stuck Here Broke?
Moved to a new state with my now ex-husband and got divorced after one year. When we moved here, it was with the understanding that it probably wouldn’t be forever. We have now been here 5 years and I hate it. We have 2 kids and joint custody 50/50. I want to move and he doesn’t. What would happen if I take the kids and move without him?
When we got divorced, we were making a similar amount of money, so I didn’t ask for any child support. He now earns a much higher salary than me. What do I need to do to start getting child support from him? He disputes every bill we are supposed to split and often refuses to pay.
