[texas] Can We Sue If A Loose Horse Caused A Car Accident?
I'm looking for some advice about a serious accident my boyfriend (20m) was in. We're in Texas, and recently, he had a terrible car accident because a horse wasn't put away properly. The horse ran in front of his car, which caused a crash that totaled his car and put him in the hospital with bad injuries.
This isn't the first time this has happened around here; it's the second time in three years. We're really upset and worried about this happening again due to someone's negligence.
Can we sue the horse's owner for the damages and medical bills? What should we do next if we can?
Any advice would be super helpful. Thanks!
