Details
Boarded Lusitania as 2nd class with his mother Florence and his maternal grandfather. On May 7, 1915 the huge liner was struck by a German torpedo in the Mid-Atlantic ocean. Stuart was last seen sleeping on a deck chair during the 2nd explosion. The grandfather survived. But Stuart and his mother both perished. None of their bodies were found.
