Patricia Hendrickson passed away peacefully in the early hours of Oct 1st, 2015.
She was born Patricia Wilson in Detroit Michigan on January 1st, 1926. She is predeceased by her husband Bob Hendrickson, and survived by her 3 children Gary Hendrickson, Dale Hendrickson and Sherri Hendrickson-Velte, and her grandchildren Davis and Hannah Velte.
Patricia, or Pat as most of her family and friends knew her, was an only child but grew up with many close friends and relatives.
She was a graduate of Mackenzie High School where she played in the school orchestra. I will never forget her stories of lugging her full size cello in its carry case on busses to and from school everyday, rain or snow!
Pat Graduated with a BA from Wayne State University Michigan, and married Robert Hendrickson on March 8th, 1952.
She was always a loving mother and we feel so fortunate to have had such loving parents.
Pat was creative in music and art with many craft and music hobbies. She loved singing with the church choir, and playing piano at home. She had a busy business creating leather jewelry which she sold at gift shops in and around her home in Taylor Michigan and continued in Fort Collins and Denver.
We will miss her dearly, but know that she is at peace and reunited with Bob. We know she is watching over us and already sense her near, not really gone but rejoicing in spirit.
We hope to see her friends and family post their memories of her here, so that we may all share in her memory.
