Nicholas Ray Ervin's funeral was held at the Dongola Unit School's old gymnasium. Jay Franklin, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Cypress Illinois, officiated. The service began at 2:30 PM and the burial was at the Liberty Cemetery of Villa Ridge Illinois, at 4:00 PM.

We are still considering what sort and style of memorial stone to set for Nick. We buried Nicholas one week ago. My little buddy has been gone nearly 2 weeks now, and although I wake up crying every day, it still does not seem real.
