The Story
A loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grand mother, sister and friend.
Mildred was a testament to the strength and power of love. Struggling through her final days to spend longer with us. She did not want to miss a thing !!
Mildred had such creativity with her gardens and art work. Her story of beating cancer the first time and creating a beautiful garden was in the paper, a full colour page ! She went on to win awards for The Tweed garden on the banks of Lynnwood Marina, Vancouver where her and Brian lived in a float home for many years. Her art work is loved by many and spread out in Canada, US and Mexico hanging on the walls of her loved ones. Mildred and Brian love Mexico and lived there for several years. They made many friends, the beautiful little town of Bucerias at Casa Anna Ruth was their home.
