Boarded Lusitania as 2nd class with his parents Sydney and Clara (nee Lee). On May 7, 1915 Lusitania was struck by a German torpedo in the Mid-Atlantic ocean. All three perished and none of their bodies were recovered.


The Story

1. The Groves family was British by nationality.
2. The father Sydney was a Methodist Priest in Toronto
3. Little Frederick "Fred" Groves was only 17 months old when he boarded Lusitania and perished in the sinking.
