Alfred boarded Titanic as 3rd class with his mother Edith and his 3 year old sister Treastell *no photograph remains* to rejoin their father in the U.S. Titanic struck an iceberg at 11: 40 PM on April 14, 1912 and sank two hours later. All three perished in the sinking and only Edith's body was recovered.
