Retha's memorial service, her celebration of life, will be held at 11a.m at Southwest Topeka Bible Church, 4141 SW 53rd, Topeka KS 66610.
The Story
Retha Ann Huske, 70, Topeka KS, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
Retha was born September 27th, 1946.
She lived life with creativity, which she shared openly with her family. Her many hobbies showed her creativity which she expressed through writing, crocheting, cooking, along with planting her flowers, daisies being her favorite.
Retha was an amazing woman with a gentle soul, leaving an imprint on all she knew. She had a smile of beauty with an infectious laugh. She possessed an inviting personality like no other.
Retha's true passion was her profound unconditional love for her children and family.
Retha was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. There will be a void in her children and family's heart with her passing and Retha will be sorely missed.
Retha leaves to cherish her memory her children, Rhonda Sue Barnett, James Mark Huske, Ronald Duane Huske, Shanea Ann Huske; siblings, Willie Thetford and Pat Thetford. She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Retha was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Jean Huske; father, Pat Thetford; mother, Betty Jean Thetford; Brother, Jim Thetford.

Retha aka GGma was such a loving, caring and beautiful person inside and out and will greatly be missed!!! Tori Bug will miss her GGma so dearly she loved her so much!! Prayers for you Rhonda and Shenea we love you guys!!!!
