Raphaël BENDERSKI was living at the UGIF children's home in La Varenne Saint-Hilaire, near Paris, when he was arrested with 18 other children on July 21, 1944, and deported on July 31 on convoy 77. His parents, Boris and Nathalie, had been deported previously on convoy 47 of February 11, 1943.
