A service will be held at Eve Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E Keating Avenue, Muskegon at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, Sue requested that canned goods be brought to the
post service reception at the VFW on 1056 Witham Road, North Muskegon.

Susan Gail Merz, 63, of Muskegon, MI passed away at her home on November 15th, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Laird, and is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Laird, sons Kevin and Justin Wheeler and her sister Deborah True. She enjoyed a sixteen year career with her wonderful co-workers at Langlois in Roosevelt Park. Sue was a compassionate, fun loving woman who always put other’s needs before her own. Her enormous personality, wealth of selflessness and friendly smile will be sorely missed by all.
