Won A Free Cruise From The World Poker Tour, But Can Not Get Any Real Response From Them. Anything I Can Do?
So September of 2023, I was cruising on Virgin Voyages who has partnered with the world poker tour to offer WPT at Sea. During the voyage I was able to win two different tournaments, with the last one winning a free cruise. I initially recieved information stating that I had until Dec. 2024 to use the cruise and was given information on how to contact the WPT at Sea folks.
I submitted my information to them with in a week or two because we always try to cruise around the same time each year. I have never recieved any information on how to pay my taxes on the cruise or how to solidify my free cruise in any way. Since that time I have been given the run around when I call the person who "does that" is always on a cruise so can't give me information right now...but We will message him and get back to you. I have sent a dozen emails asking about this with the same BS response but never a real answer.
When I was able to speak to the "person who does that" I get told "everything is fine, we will send you the info when it gets closer" however, I am no comfortable with that since my cruise is just a couple of months away it seems very fishy to me.
They are giving one or two cruises a way each week and I have not been able to see where this is happening to anyone else...or if they are just giving everything the same BS.
Is there anything I can do??
