What Is My Responsibility Re: My Husband Threatening To Kill Himself?

Oklahoma

Hi all, my husband has had suicidal thoughts and a plan for quite some time. This culminated last night when I called 911, 988 and took him to the ED, where he declined all treatment and I declined to commit him. By that, I mean write a “third party statement” regarding what he had been telling me all day. If I had, he likely would’ve been put on a 72 hour hold.

Now my husband is in the kids’ bedroom, refusing to leave, refusing to participate in the household, including parenting our 9 month old son. He has said that I will not have to worry about him after a few days. I don’t know what this means. I have told his dad and sister, he is not talking to anyone.

I am not sure if he will kill himself, I think he will just leave and maybe relapse on drugs and repeat what he did with his first family. I own my home, bought in my name only in September 2022, he has lived here since then, his kids are here every other weekend. We were married in August 2023.

Questions:

Have I done enough to protect myself legally if he actually kills himself?

Am I able to provide him with a 30 day notice to vacate in case he does not leave voluntarily?

This is all very sad. He is a good person, but refuses mental health treatment. He is welcome to stay here as long as he engages in treatment and stops holding us hostage on suicidal threats. I am trying to protect myself, my son and my house. Thanks in advance.
