Unclaimed Land

My grandmother bought a small piece of land in Virginia in the 1970s. A few years ago, she intended to gift the land to me, but her health deteriorated, and she passed away without doing so. I have learned that the property taxes on the land haven't been paid for four years, and the land is scheduled to be auctioned due to the unpaid taxes in June. The land still stands in my grandmother's name and wasn't transferred to any of her children. Additionally, none of her children are on good terms with each other, so obtaining information from them is difficult. My question is, is there any way I can pay the taxes and claim the land so it isn't lost?
