Trust Fund Advice

I’m looking for advice for my situation and would like to know where to start looking for information if it can’t be provided here. I just turned 19 and was placed in a trust when I was very young. I was aware of the amount I had at this time and I was allowed to purchase a car when I turned 16 and obviously that took a significant chunk of the money but now, allegedly, I have less than a quarter of the amount that should’ve remained after I purchased the car. This obviously leads me to believe the funds have been embezzled by someone but idk where to begin searching. I had to call the lawyer that oversees it to confirm that I wanted the money for my benefit and my benefit only but I can’t figure out for the life of me why I was never contacted for the withdrawals that took place after I purchased the car. Any help is appreciated and I apologize if this doesn’t make any sense, im very distraught over the information and can’t use my words correctly
